Bibhu Mohapatra has resigned from his position as veteran design director at J. Mendel.

Mimi Valdés Ryan has been named editorial director at Latina. She had been senior contributing editor there.

Duff McDonald has been named a contributing editor at New York magazine.

Blaise Zerega, formerly managing editor at Portfolio, has been promoted to deputy editor.

Jacob Lewis, formerly managing editor of The New Yorker, is now managing editor at Portfolio.

Richard Spencer has been given additional oversight to edit Life & Style. He is also the editor in chief at In Touch.

Elizabeth Bliss, formerly at Nike Communications, is now public relations manager at Allure.

Katie Garrabrant is leaving the PR department at People magazine. She will now be in the special events department at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Holly Doran is leaving the special events department at Vogue. She will be joining aSmallWorld, where she will be global director of special events.
